The relationship between music and man sinks into deep and consubstantial ontogenetic and phylogenetic roots with being living bodies. This is the reason why, where words fail, sound gains space, in its temporal evolution. In this short contribution we will focus on what results from research in the sector more functional to the work of the music therapist and to the cultural foundations on which his work must rest. It is, first of all, to know which perceptual, cognitive and emotional processes - bodily in summary, and we will explain why - the person acts in front of a listening to music, or in the act of clinical musical methods. So let's deal with how the person himself transforms himself in the act of modifying and shaping this inconsistent matter which is music.

Abstract
The relationship between music and man sinks into deep and consubstantial ontogenetic and phylogenetic roots with being living bodies. This is the reason why, where words fail, sound gains space, in its temporal evolution. In this short contribution we will focus on what results from research in the sector more functional to the work of the music therapist and to the cultural foundations on which his work must rest. It is, first of all, to know which perceptual, cognitive and emotional processes - bodily in summary, and we will explain why - the person acts in front of a listening to music, or in the act of clinical musical methods. So let's deal with how the person himself transforms himself in the act of modifying and shaping this inconsistent matter which is music.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
