The qualified and accredited music therapy courses established since 1981 present some transversal characteristics that are indicative of a virtuous interdisciplinary and multi-perspective vocation. The heterogeneity of the students with respect to the background of skills and previous studies, the continuous intersection between the dimension of thought, the theoretical acquisition of interdisciplinary knowledge (medical, psychological, musical and music therapy) and the laboratory dimension, the improvisational-musical practice, and finally the adult age of the students, already veterans of higher education or multi-year work experience, makes these training experiences true incubators of new ideas with respect to the perception of self integrated with one's previous professional identity and the one under construction. Thus, they represent an exemplary opportunity for transformative learning. A case study describes, in detail, the dynamics and possible outcomes.

Abstract
A case study describes, in detail, the dynamics and possible outcomes.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
